Medical District to consider Special Olympics Chicago facility

The Illinois Medical District Commission has set a timetable for the potential approval of Special Olympics Chicago’s proposed $30 million facility amid assurances that outside money will be found for the venue.

Under a plan announced at Tuesday’s IMDC Board meeting, IMDC will review SOC’s proposal next month. The board would likely vote on the matter during its May meeting, according to commission spokeswoman Heather Tarczan.
