The City Council Committee on Budget and Government Operations passed an ordinance on Tuesday that lets the City of Chicago spend $12.3 million in newly-received outside money, including a $10.3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation for the redevelopment of the Bloomingdale Trail.
