Gov. Pat Quinn’s popularity has improved moderately since receiving the lowest approval rating among any governor in the nation in 2012, but he certainly isn’t popular with at least one of his neighbors.
In a Thursday piece by Mark Konkol, the DNAinfo Chicago columnist shared images he received from an angry neighbor that depicted Quinn’s unkempt, dandelion-strewn lawn at his home in the Galewood community on Chicago’s West Side.
"Footlong dandelions all over," the tipster wrote in his email to Konkol. "Worst on the block. … I don't know what's worse, the front yard or the back."
Quinn spokeswoman Brooke Anderson responded to the story by assuring Konkol that cleaning up his lawn is definitely “on [Quinn’s] to-do list.”
