After saying its Daisy Cutter Pale Ale would be in limited supply for a while, the Chicago-based Half Acre brewery on Tuesday started ramping up it stash of the beer.
As the supplier of Daisy Cutter’s cans faced a shortage, Half Acre last week said Daisy Cutter would be harder to obtain, apart from in draft form at area bars. But after receiving more than 6,000 Daisy Cutter cans on Tuesday, according to DNAinfo Chicago, Half Acre staff promptly started filling them with the beloved brew.
The can shortage was caused by a Memorial Day weekend fire at the warehouse of Half Acre’s can supplier.
