Patrick Kennedy, founder of the Kennedy Forum on Community Mental Health, announced his group received a $100,000 donation to help raise awareness of mental health issues in Illinois during a Thursday City Club of Chicago event.

Kennedy, the son of late U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy and nephew of late President John F. Kennedy Jr., said MADO Healthcare President Peter O’Brien and his wife, Mimi, had made the contribution to help the Kennedy Forum establish an Illinois chapter.
