Illinois Finance Authority to issue $175 million bond for clean water projects

Illinois Finance Authority Executive Director Chris Meister said his agency plans to issue a $175 million bond “in November or December” to finance Gov. Pat Quinn’s Clean Water Initiative, which funds municipal water infrastructure projects. The IFA Board approved a resolution on Tuesday that green lighted the bond.
