Congressman Quigley announces new caucus to help fight O’Hare flight noise

U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Ill.) on Thursday announced the creation of the “Quiet Skies Caucus,” which will work to reduce the impact of flight noise on people living near O’Hare and other U.S. airports.

The caucus includes Quigley, U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) and 11 other Democratic U.S. congressman. Its formation is, in part, a response to a recent increase in noise complaints from persons living near O’Hare Airport.
