As the alderman of Chicago’s 1st Ward, Proco “Joe” Moreno celebrates the diversity of his constituency.
From the vibrant Puerto Rican heritage apparent in Humboldt Park to the bustling dining establishments in Logan Square and the music venues of Wicker Park, the 1st Ward contains an eclectic mix of cultures and lifestyles. Moreno said it was that diversity that originally drew him to the area.
