On May 18 at the Chicago Theatre, 13 first-time aldermen will be sworn into office. The new City Council will be younger and include more hispanics, more openly gay aldermen and fewer women.
The final meeting of the current Chicago City Council on Wednesday featured a showdown between Gov. Bruce Rauner and aldermen over the governor’s proposed right-to-work zones.
