Chicago Transit Authority President Forrest Claypool touted the city’s investments in CTA infrastructure under Mayor Rahm Emanuel's leadership while speaking during a Tuesday City Club of Chicago address.
In total, the city has committed a total of $5 billion to CTA infrastructure improvements since the spring of 2011, Claypool told the City Club Audience.
One of those investments is the planned installation of 4G wireless technology along the CTA’s underground railways next year, the CTA president explained.
