Four days from Election Day, key Illinois races are close

Halloween is here, and that means Election Day is right around the corner. With just four days before the big event, there are a few close races coming to a head in Illinois.

Blogger displaying frightening figures of Illinois politics for Halloween

Illinois Review blogger Mark Weyermuller is celebrating Halloween with a political twist.

The “Chicago Politics 2014 and the Midterms” display is currently on show at Weyermuller’s home at 208 Lawndale St. in Wilmette. It features life-size figures resembling Gov. Pat Quinn and Bruce Rauner, President Barack Obama and the “first-time figure greeting trick or treaters as they enter, none other than Lois Lerner from the IRS,” according to Weyermuller.

“This yard is very scary,” he said. “Republican or Democrat, you will be scared.”
