Kellogg named top school in Chicagoland for entrepreneurship

Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management was named the Chicago-area’s top graduate program for entrepreneurship in a recent national ranking.

Kellogg was named No. 6 in the country in Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine’s annual list of the best graduate entrepreneurship programs, Crain’s Chicago Business reported. NU’s program did not make the list last year.

“We were really thrilled,” Kellogg Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative Executive Director Linda Darragh said. She said Dean Sally Blount had laid the foundation for the program’s success: “There's been a huge effort by a new team.”

University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business slotted in at No. 9 on the list, the same position it held last year.

DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business made the list for the first time ever and was ranked No. 20. The University also appeared on the list of top 25 undergraduate entrepreneurship programs, moving up from No. 24 a year ago to No. 15 in the latest rankings.
