Advertising conference to explorer technology’s effect on advertising law

The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) will host its annual, two-day Advertising Law & Policy Conference in Chicago next week. This year’s conference will examine the impact of technological advances on legal and policy issues in advertising.

Now in its 12th year, the ANA Advertising Law & Policy Conference will include panel discussions, speaker presentations and interactive programs. Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan will give the keynote address at this year’s conference.

According to the ANA’s website, some of the topics scheduled for discussion at the 2016 conference include potential changes to advertising law and policy following the 2016 election as well as the status of copyright law on the Internet and how intellectual property owners can prevent unauthorized dissemination.

The conference will take place at the Westin Chicago in River North next Wednesday and Thursday. Registration and event details can be found on the ANA’s website.
